The Mayflower turns 100 this year and this year's edition is inspired by the buttercup flower.
– It feels both surreal and really fun that it was my Mayflower that won. Buttercups are so beautiful, the yellow makes you happy and gives you energy. My Mayflower should give children hope; everyone should be able to have a leisure activity and have fun with friends, says Nellie Pilhton, this year's Mayflower designer.

The Mayflower collection will support children in financially vulnerable situations in Sweden. The Children's Rights organization's method is unique; the money from the collection is distributed as personal financial support to individual children in the local area.
