SHELLFISH COOLNESS IN ARTISTIC VINTAGE

Remove

A collaboration between Mathias Dahlgren's restaurant Seafood Gastro at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm and students from the Ädellab bachelor's program at Konstfack in Stockholm is now presenting some unique objects. The students have drawn inspiration from the raw materials and dishes served at the restaurant.
In close dialogue with Staffan Naess, CEO of Seafood Gastro, the students have explored the relationship between context, people, food and objects, with a focus on corpus – artistic objects for the table such as a vessel.

– It has been an incredibly inspiring collaboration with Seafood Gastro. The students have explored how art and gastronomy together can give food a new dimension, with the set table as a starting point. The students have created fantastic works, inspired by the universe that Staffan and his team have invited them to. I am really looking forward to seeing these objects in their proper context at the restaurant at Blasieholmen, says Sarah Hurtigkarl, lecturer at Konstfack.
