Each year, the world's best steakhouses are selected and the list "The World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants" is presented. This year, restaurant AG, run by restaurateurs Johan Jureskog and Klas Ljungquist, is found in ninth place.

Since 2019, The World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants has been listing the world's foremost meat restaurants. To create the global guide, sixteen people conduct over 800 restaurant visits. The ranking is based on, among other things, the quality and selection of the meat, the service and knowledge level of the staff, the wine list, and the interior design.
– There is no restaurant guide in the world that means as much to us as The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants. Achieving a top ten position is an enormous team effort by the entire staff. From the butcher, chefs, and serving staff to our head sommelier behind the wine list, says chef and restaurateur Johan Jureskog at AG. Now we will celebrate properly, but also sharpen our knives further so that we can rank even higher next year.
AG opened in 2011 on Kungsholmen in Stockholm and is owned by Johan Jureskog and Klas Ljungquist, who also run Rolf's Kök and the new Rolf's Hav. AG has 100 seats in the dining room and a tapas bar. Since its opening, the restaurant has received several awards, including Steakhouse of the Year three years in a row.
On the menu, you'll find up to 40 different types of beef, graded according to our own system based on flavour intensity, tenderness, and marbling. The system takes into account, among other things, the animal's breed, age, lifestyle, and diet. The restaurant has both a meat sommelier in the dining room and a full-time master butcher who continuously manages the dry-aging of over four tonnes of meat.
