AI does the job

Remove

-AI can do my job – and it makes me feel down, says Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO of Klarna. He believes that AI will soon be able to replace all jobs – even his own. The company has already stopped recruiting and uses AI for tasks previously handled by hundreds of employees.
– AI combines knowledge and reasoning, and that's precisely what my job is about, he writes in a post on X. Although the technology is impressive, Sebastian Siemiatkowski is not entirely positive:
– My work is a part of my identity. The thought that it could become redundant feels sad. Klarna has reduced its workforce by 22 percent and is now letting AI take over many core tasks, while employees are encouraged to become more efficient with the technology.
