Are you an architect, surveyor, or do you work in finance or HR? Congratulations! You have a lower mortality rate than other occupational groups. Those in management positions within these categories have the lowest risk of all. This is shown by new statistics from SCB, Statistics Sweden, where they have looked at deaths, regardless of cause, across different occupations. Professionals with a higher annual income and who live with a partner also live longer. Mortality is highest in occupations requiring short training or induction. These include newspaper distributors, caretakers, receptionists, care assistants, and forestry workers.
