This summer there is an extra reason to step aboard M/S Prins Carl Philip. The historic ship turns 125 and is celebrating the anniversary with special trips to and from Drottningholm. Since its launch in 1901, the ship has gone from a steam-powered prisoner transporter to a popular excursion ship on Lake Mälaren. Today, the trips depart from Klara Mälarstrand in central Stockholm, and the journey offers both beautiful views and a piece of Swedish history.
