After an extensive renovation, Scandic Norra Bantorget will open under a new name, Scandic Wallin, at the end of March next year. It offers a concept that celebrates art and design, while sustainability is a key ingredient.

Scandic Wallin is located right next to Norra Bantorget on Wallingatan. Here you are in the heart of the city, surrounded by culture and shopping. With its choice of interior design, the hotel pays tribute to the building's designer.
Sven ”Mr Funkis” Markelius, known for creating the Sweden House at Kungsträdgården, collective housing at Kungsholemen and the stackable Orchestra chair. Just like at all Scandic hotels, sustainability is a central part of Scandic Wallin. The hotel has been Nordic Ecolabelled according to Nordic Ecolabelling’s new criteria, which include ecolabelled products and chemicals, 100% renewable electricity, the absence of single-use packaging, reduced water use, a more climate-friendly food offering and a focus on reduced food waste. The hotel is also certified with BREEAM In Use Very Good.
– We are really looking forward to finally opening the doors to this modern hotel with a very central location and good communication facilities. Here we can meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers for a fantastic hotel experience for several years to come. We are currently investing in many of our hotels across the country and to once again open a newly renovated Scandic Wallin will be a great addition to the city portfolio in Stockholm, says Peter Jangbratt, Country Manager at Scandic Sweden.
