Fish Church In Gothenburg has been named the winner of this year's Dezeen Awards 2025 in the Heritage Project category. After four years of careful restoration, led by Higab in collaboration with White Arkitekter and Skeppsviken, the iconic fish and seafood hall is now being praised for its respectful renewal of the 150-year-old building. The jury highlights the project's technical skill and the restoration of the hall's original light and space, as well as its connection to the canal.
