Wallenberg's new major investment in artificial intelligence is landing in Linköping. The AI center, named Sferical AI, is being built in close collaboration with the American Nvidia and a number of major Swedish companies, including Ericsson, Saab and SEB. One of Sweden's most powerful AI systems will be installed here, with the goal of giving businesses the tools to take the lead in the rapid technological transformation.
– We want to contribute to Swedish industry standing strong in global competition, says Marcus Wallenberg.
The announcement is seen as a major success for Linköping, which already has a major role in Swedish tech and research, and the establishment is expected to attract both talent and investment.
