A new survey from the National Bureau of Economic Research shows a clear gap. Around 70 percent of companies surveyed say they are using AI. At the same time, over 80 percent say the technology has not impacted
either productivity or staffing over the last three years.
Yet the same executives expect AI to provide a boost within three years. Expectations are high but the effects have been limited so far. The question is whether the results are delayed or whether the calculations have been too optimistic.
