After an investment of 25.5 million kronor, all 73 rooms, the restaurant, the lobby and the common areas have been renovated. One of the biggest improvements is the installation of comfort cooling throughout the property, something that has not been easy to implement in a culturally historic building with over 170 years of history. At the same time, the choice of materials, color scheme and interior design have been updated with inspiration from the building's prison past.
